Most questions we get are about access, payment and timing. If yours isn’t here, the form to the left reaches a person.
Your course appears in your account as soon as payment goes through. Log in at Account in the top menu and it will be waiting on your dashboard. If you checked out as a guest, use the email address you paid with to set a password.
Use the Lost your password? link on the account page and we’ll email you a reset link. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder — and if it still hasn’t, send us the email address you enrolled with and we’ll sort it out.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our checkout. We don’t accept personal checks.
Refund requests are handled case by case (30 day guaranteed grace period); contact us with your order number and we’ll go through it with you.
No. Everything you need to complete the course and sit the school exam is included in the price. Textbooks and exam prep are optional extras, and the state charges its own fees separately — $15 for the written examination and $65 for the license application.
You have four months from the date you register to complete the coursework and the school exam.
Separately, Department of State regulations require you to finish both within 12 months of purchase. Past that point the course has to be repurchased and retaken, so the twelve-month limit is the one that really matters.
Extensions are available if four months isn’t enough — get in touch before your access expires and we’ll arrange one.
You’ll receive your certificate once you pass the proctored school exam. Keep it — it’s your proof of completion, and the Department of State may ask for it.
We also notify the state directly that you’ve passed, so you don’t need to file anything yourself.
Through your eAccessNY account on the Department of State’s website, not through us. Choose “Apply to Take an Exam”, pick a site and date, and pay the $15 fee.
Book early — seat availability is usually what sets your timeline, not your coursework.
